Initiated and excecuted by Michaela Clarence and Bori Papp, V&A/RCA History of Design. "Inawaé Néket Tané’", a Letter for You Gabriela "Ina Leah" Fernandez. This is an imaginative letter for mothers who make Indonesian woven fabric in Lamaholot Tribe, East Nusa Tenggara. A genuine curiosity from a daughter distanced from the culture, raised in big cities but now longing to know her roots. In the second part, this letter then transformed into a song lyric written in both Bahasa Indonesia and Lamaholot Language, aligned with the notion of embodied knowledge (in song, craft, and dance), as a way to echo the topic and curiosity for younger generations nowadays.
